498a-injustice with men

The basic motive of indian law system is to provide justice to all the people,despite of their caste,relegion,social status or GENDER.But 498a is totaly a gender based law,which destroying harmony of indian families.It was implimented to protect indian women from dowry evils,but now a days it was missused in hrassing innocent husbands and their family members by many unscruplous women.Higher law athourities of india and many social organisations also accepted this fact that this law is largely bieng missused by indian wives and their relatives only for extortion ,due to failed marriage its the easy way to get divorce and to recover the amount spent by her father in her marriage.And to get this she has not to do alot,she has to just lodge a false complaint against her husband.and the rest is done by indian police and indian law system.The accused person puts behind the bars without making proper investigation.498a became the easiest way of blackmailing,extortion,mental,social and physical harassment of indian husbands and their family members by indian wives and their relatives.This is total injustice with indian husbands that they have no right to proove their innocence during investigation and they must have to go jail only on the base of a false and fabricated complaint,untill they got bale.this is known fact that today this law is being missused on a large scale,and this is right time to make some possitive amendment in 498a so that only real victims can get its benifit and the missuse of 498a has been stopped.Otherwise it totally destroys the institute of indian marriage AND THIS BECAME A GREAT DISASTER TO INDIAN SOCIETY.
